There is only love you see

When we focus on love

There is only you and me

No more chores and to dos

No more lists or charts

Nothing left to be

You see

Love is all there is

Nothing more nothing less

Love is a revolving door

Opening for you

To see

What is truly

FREE

You and your ways

How you control the plays

But really it’s all a daze

Because some day

Well look back and say

Why was I that way?

Why didn’t I seize the day?

Stay

Present for myself and my kids

Present to what truly is

So today—

I can truly say

I’m acknowledging my ways & plays

I’m okay with the way

I’ve been and I’m okay with the way

I’ll continue to play

As long as I stay
